Solid place to stay. Secure onsite parking. Easy walk to groceries & town. Also, has breakfast option. Stayed in room #7 which was a upstairs unit, seemed roomy enough, nicer bathroom both with plenty of natural light & views. Charming old building with many artifacts in the halls & decorating the walls. 3 nights in early-September 2025.

3rd time staying here, 3 different rooms, all 3 have comfy beds and the guys running it, very helpful, managed to check in early this time, no quibbles won’t stay anywhere else now, very quirky with all the history on show,but nothing too much trouble for the guys running it,this time booked direct and got a discount and a lovely suite which now would always try and book as so much space in the room, deffo recommend

This hotel is really quirky and not the usual bland box, it’s full of interest and individuality. The beds were comfortable and the room clean and well appointed. Location is close to city and has its own car park. Staff were really helpful

A really nice quaint old building with countless amounts of wonderful antiques that you can look at throughout the stairwell and hallway the room was adequately appointed beds were very comfortable. Shower over the bath was great. The stuff were very welcoming and friendly. Unlikely to go back again if I need a location stay in the area I’d recommend it 100 hundred percent great value for money.

The hotel is excellent.. we had the garden room which was wonderful.. the only problem we had was people came outside to smoke and you could here them.. late at night and early in the morning.. otherwise nothing wrong.. plenty of free parking also.. will be staying again when up that way.. thank you
